awam

Founded by Wagner Morais, awam is an independent creative production company based in Germany and Spain. We develop concepts and produce commercial campaigns, films and photography for brands in different countries, working directly with clients or alongside their agencies.

An idea. A direction. A production.

Some projects begin with a conversation; others arrive with a developed concept. We shape our involvement around the brief, define the creative direction and organise the production. From casting and locations to editing and final delivery, each decision serves the idea and the audience.

The brief defines how we work together. We coordinate creative direction, production and post-production around the needs of each project, with clear responsibilities and room to discuss and refine the work with the brand or agency.

What we develop and produce.

Commercial campaigns

We develop the concept and creative direction, then plan film and photographic production around a shared idea. Each material has a role in the campaign.

From treatment and preparation to the shoot, edit and final delivery, we produce films for brands and work as production partners for agencies.

Commercial, editorial and lifestyle photography shaped by the brief, with a considered visual direction for digital and print.

Creative development

We develop concepts, treatments and the visual direction around what the brand needs to communicate. A clear idea connects every part of the campaign.

We organise casting, locations, crew and the shoot, then carry the work through editing and post-production to the finished materials.

Wagner Morais founded awam with a way of working that connects creative development with production. From our base in Germany and Spain, projects in different countries have brought new people, perspectives and ways of approaching an idea.

Alongside the commercial work, he shares his approach to developing ideas through The Creative Process, a workshop on the creative process. The same attention to the concept informs how awam approaches a campaign, a film or a photographic production.
